I'm back from Epic Travels (as of late Saturday night) and have much to regale in the way of hiking, bookstores, delicious vegan food, campfires, and interpretive reading.

However, I am too busy being on the verge of tears and freaking out trying to register for my damn courses and find an apartment in NYC.  Eeeek.

I have a job. The Altoona Public Library hired me for a part-time position in their Youth Room. And I've completed my first day already. It's okay. Lots of toddlers...but okay. Apparently this is the summer of many travels. I got into NYC yesterday, checked into my crummy Brooklyn YMCA room and walked around Greenwich Village in the rain listening to The Smiths.
